Introducing 2017…

I always get excited about the new year and this year is no different. Infact, this year is extra special. I can feel it in my bones.

Whoop! The year 2017 is here and with it, I promise to be a lot more consistent with posts and outfit ideas; regardless of what life throws my way.
2016 was an adventure, one that ended with a bang! I got to marry my best friend and start a new adventure altogether! 2017 is the year of building new things, growth and expansion.

I’m looking for new inspiration all around me this year to help improve my posts, mainly to keep us all better informed. I urge that you send some my way, especially using the comment box! Let’s work together, shall we?

The feature post of today happened inbetween my prewedding shoot. Dammell thought shots of me alone in the most basic but most profound fashion staples (White Shirt and Blue Denims) was a good idea. I agree!

So, I struck poses and allowed myself to be captured by the photographer’s lens.

I was wearing a wrap shirt I got off the sale rack at Next two summers ago and a pair of distressed mum’s jeans scored at NewLook. The baseball hat, the minion smiley badges and the shoes were the preferred accessories for the whole look.

I was going for a simple yet chic look with the most minimal accessories

The mission this year is to express myself fully as comfortably as I can whilst staying true to myself.

I also plan to play  a whole lot with conventional, nonconventional, basic, alternative, quirky, and everything fashionable because I can!

I’m also taking more fashion risks this year. I’m doing things differently and yet not so differently (never been a sucker for rules). I plan to break some more this year, bear with me.

I’m also looking to collaborate a lot this year with other fashion industry based folks, so if you are interested, shoot me an email and let’s get to work.

Do have an amazing Wednesday.

Ps: I have a new signature. I’ll be signing out from here on out with…

S Kush
